February 1st, 2011 by cathybeddoesAnge and Luke – 22nd January 2011
January 28th, 2011 by cathybeddoesPretty, pretty, pretties! Ange’s bouquets were so gorgeous, we really loved these ones! Ange chose chocolate brown dresses for her maids and wanted something to tone nicely but still wanted it be that little bit different. The bouquets we created were round handtied posies with a beautiful dusty pink Dahlia’s, a darker dusty pink Lissianthus, ‘Honeymoon’ latte colour Roses, cream Lissianthus, green berries and foliage and a gorgoues small leaf chocolate brown foliage. Congratulations Ange and Luke!
Jamie and Matt – 8th January 2011
January 27th, 2011 by cathybeddoesOur first wedding of 2011 and our fisrt wedding as Cathy Shepherd Wedding Flowers! Jamie’s flowers were elegant and simple – with bouquets of pure white Lissianthus for her bridesmaids and a deep purple for herself. The girls wore stunning purple dresses which set the white bouquets off really nicely – and Jamie was of course so beautiful in her gown with the purple bouquet to contrast. Jamie also wanted to incorporate an embroidery piece from her grandmothers wedding dress so we wrapped her stems in a satin first to protect the peice and then layed it over the top. The reception took place at Cherbon Waters ceremonial gardens at burbank – a relaxed atmosphere under the marquee. We set up glass cylinders filled with purple Orchids and clear stones on round mirrors, it looked just beautful. Congratulations Jamie and Matt!
Cassandra and Brad 4th December 2010
January 27th, 2011 by cathybeddoesCassandra’s flowers were so pretty with beautiful soft tones and fluffy textures. Cassandra chose a pale pink Peony Rose, Mauve Lissianthus, Sweet Avalanche Rose and a few off white Lissianthus with tiny hints of green buds. The reception was at Victoria park function centre where we adorned the room with beautiful glass cubes filled with the same Peony’s, Roses and Lissianthus from the bouquets. Cass had lovingly tied a gorgeous sash of lace around each glass cube which just added the perfect soft touch. The room looked delightful and Cass and her two bridesmaids looked simply stunning. Congratulations Cass and Brad!

Summerhouse competition photo shoot 30th November 2010
January 27th, 2011 by cathybeddoesWe were lucky enough to be involved in this wonderful competition at the end of November. The lovely Maureen from Life in Bloom Photography approached me with her idea for the competition and asked me to supply the bouquet for the winner. The winner was Amanda Teasdale – one very lucky woman! Amanda and her husband were treated to a beautiful nights stay at Summerhouse Byron Bay, Photography by Maureen from Life in Bloom Photography, Hair and Make up by Rina Hepworth, Rosanne Sinclair was there to renew thier vows for them and we supplied the flowers for the occasion. Amandas bouquet was an interesting mix of vintage meets boho. It included David Austin Roses, Succulents, Native nuts, Dusty Miller Foliage, spray Roses and handmade fabric flowers with lace and pearl detail which was also carried into the stem wrap detail.
Lisa and Andrew 19th November 2010
January 25th, 2011 by cathybeddoesLisa was so lovely right from the start, having a tricky colour for her bridesmaids dresses there was lots of brain storming and discussions (no I didnt intentionaly prolong our meetings at Lisa’s beachfront apartment) about what colours we would put together. Lisa ended up deciding on something that would tone in instead of stand out and I agreed. Her bridesmaids wore a peachy, apricot almost with a hint of pink and Lisa’s beautiful gown had tones of light gold in the overlay. Lisa ended up choosing Beautiful off white and cream David Austin Roses, Julia Roses, Honeymoon Roses with a touch of off white Andromeda, we had the same for her maids but also added in a Savita and Creme Brulee Rose to pick up the apricot colours in the dresses. I love these bouquets Lisa, Congratulations on your very beautiful wedding!
Kate and Aidan 13th November 2010
January 25th, 2011 by cathybeddoesKates beautiful bouquets reflected her style and personality and matched the purple flowing bridesmaids dresses pefectly. Kate chose Mid pink ‘Sweet Avalanche’ Roses, Hot pink ‘Papparazi’ Roses, Deep purple Lissianthus and S’ilvery Moon’ Roses. As the Silvery moon were unavailable we found a perfect substitute with a mauve David Austin Rose instead. If you look closley you can see Kate also chose to have a bit of ‘bling’ in her bouquets with tiny silver diamantes placed throughout. This bling was also used on the boys buttonholes, in the table centerpieces and on the stem buckles we placed on her bouquets. Congratulations Kate and Aidan and all the very best for your future together.

The photos in this album were taken by my dear friend Maureen Haynes from Life in Bloom Photography, I think you will all agree the photos are just stunning! Maureen has had countless compliments on these photos, she is just so talented and I cant thank her enough! xo
Tina and Ian 9th October 2010
December 15th, 2010 by cathybeddoesThis was another very wet wedding but that didn’t deter the lovely Tina from having a ball! Tina and her bridesmaids looked absolutley stunning and the flowers complemented the dresses beautifully. Tina chose a timeless mixed posy of Ranunculus, open Avalanche Roses, Blushing Brides, sweet pea and Lissianthus in gorgeous whites and barley there pinks. For her maids she again chose to have mixed posies with Ranunculus, Sweet Avalanche Roses, Lissianthus, Blushing Brides, Jonquils and Berries in gorgeous pinks and greens. The reception was at Sirromet Winery and Tina chose table arrangements to match the bouquets. Congratulations Tina and Ian on a very beautiful wedding.
